Description
This gorgeous reversible off the shoulder shawl is Carolyn's favourite. She made one for our gift shop and liked it so much she made another for herself. It is not a traditional triangular shawl or rectangular shawl, it is a bit of both. The photos also show you a few steps involved in making the shawls.
The base for this shawl is solid charcoal grey fibre from our girl, Kit Kat, she has extremely fine fibre and very warm. When wearing the solid grey on the outside the collar/lapel shows light grey with streaks of pink and white silk/merino running through it. Just enough to add a splash of colour.
The other side has a very thin layer of light grey fibre from Valiant's Last Stand blended into the dark grey. Valiant's fibre is also very fine making this a very soft , warm and lightweight shawl. Blended with the light grey are wisps of pink and white merino and silk giving the shawl a slight marbled look.
This shawl can be worn draped over the shoulders or use a favourite brooch to pin it and have it loose around the shoulders.
Size – 24” (61 cm) centre back from top to bottom , 32” ( 81 cm) from right shoulder to waist area, 17” (43 cm) from left shoulder to waist area.
